Half Life 2 Scout Car Buggy v1.0 (0.38.x)
- The transmission gear ratios are taken from the Half-Life 2 physics files, which is funny because in HL2 the top speed is limited to 35 miles per hour—a speed that would require an incredibly powerful final drive to achieve.
- The engine is actually a bit underpowered compared to the physics data from HL2. In HL2, it supposedly has 350 horsepower, but it’s fast enough at 215.
- The tires are bias-ply, as described in the HL2 wiki. The wheels are modular, and you can fit any standard 5-bolt rims on it.
- The total weight is slightly overestimated—1,900 pounds compared to 800 kg from the physics files.
- It has two skins: the HL2 skin and a more modern skin. The modern skin will be fully customized and created specifically for BeamNG.
