The Cherrier Tango was produced from 1992 to 1996 alongside the Cherrier Picnic; a total of approximately 30,000 units were sold, and production was discontinued due to the greater popularity of the Picnic. All Tango models came with either a 1.2-liter or 1.4-liter 4-cylinder MPFI engine, delivering 64 hp/100 Nm and 89 hp/118 Nm, respectively.
