The Porsche 908/3 was developed specifically for the Nürburgring Nordschleife and the Targa Florio, where the heavier 917K was less well-suited. With a curb weight of about 660 kg, including the driver, and approximately 350 hp from its flat-eight engine, the power-to-weight ratio was about 540 hp per ton. The 908/3 achieved great success, winning both the Targa Florio and the 1000 km of the Nürburgring, although its legacy was partly overshadowed by the 917K’s famous victory at Le Mans in 1971. Only about ten examples were built, making it one of the rarest Porsche prototypes.

The mod includes both winged (1971) and wingless (1970) configurations, with a variety of paint schemes, additional aerodynamic body kits, and other details. The jbeam model was created from scratch, so high-speed collisions may not look entirely realistic.
