Grant Gooseneck Wedge Car Trailer v1.3 (0.38.x)
Version 1.3:
* Added simplified ramps. They are installed by default on all configurations except the blue 4-seat version, as they are not compatible with the rear folding ramps. They can be operated by clicking the corresponding sides at the end of the platform, where they will automatically extend and deploy. They can be retracted in the same way.
**35 ft and 50 ft Car Hauler Trailer**
This trailer features an all-steel construction and is available in two lengths (35 ft and 50 ft), two deck widths (96 in and 102 in), and four axle configurations (tridem/tandem single-wheel, tandem dual-wheel, and single axle). The suspension uses slipper leaf springs without shock absorbers, while the tandem and tridem axle versions feature equalizer beams connecting the leaf springs, similar to the vanilla flatbed trailer.
Depending on the configuration, payload capacity ranges from just under 2.5 tons to over 6.6 tons. Each configuration is identified by a unique VIN plate located on the trailer's front panel. The trailer also includes scratch-made modular 16x6 steel wheels, available with zero offset for single-wheel setups and a 5.35-inch offset for dual-wheel setups, offered in four finishes along with custom tires.
The trailer is equipped with two manually operated 9-foot aluminum loading ramps stored at the rear of the deck.
**Ramp operation:**
* Park the trailer on relatively level ground and come to a complete stop.
* Unlock the ramps by activating the trigger on the locking pins.
* Using node grab in either free camera or walking mode, pull the ramps out and align them beneath each side of the deck. The left ramp only fits the left side, and the right ramp only fits the right side.
* Activate the deck trigger to attach the ramps. If they do not lock immediately, nudge them with node grab until you hear a click.
* The ramps can be moved left or right to match the vehicle being loaded.
* After loading, detach the ramps using the same trigger on the rear edge of the deck, slide them back to the center, lift them, and insert them into the inner deck storage area. Exact placement is not required as long as they are inside the deck.
* Activate the locking-pin triggers again, slide the ramps into place, lock them, and store them securely.
